Bühlertal-Obertal ist kein Ort für Eilige. Hier atmet der Schwarzwald tief durch – und du mit ihm. Der Engelsfelsen ragt steil empor, als wolle er prüfen, ob man den Wein dort wirklich verdient hat. Der Engelssteig führt durch Landschaften, die aussehen, als hätte die Natur gerade erst aufgehört zu malen. Weiter oben wacht der Wiedenfelsen über das Tal wie ein schweigsamer Großvater. Selbst der Spielplatz wirkt gelassener als anderswo. Kein Lärm, kein Trubel – nur frische Luft, ehrliche Pfade und ein Gefühl von „genau hier bin ich richtig“. Wer Obertal erlebt, merkt: Manchmal ist wenig alles.

Sehr guter Ort zum wandern, direkt bei der Schwarzwaldhochstrasse. Tolle Wasserfälle, Freibad, Reben und Waldwege. Wanderungen u.a. zur Herta-Hütte, Schloßhotel Bühlerhöhe, Gertelbachfälle ect. Mit dem Auto 30min.nach Baden-Baden,1Stunde nach Strassburg, über Schwarzwaldhochstrasse 1 Stunde nach Freudenstadt oder zur Klosterruine und Wasserfälle Allerheiligen.

Am Anfang dachten wir auch sehr schöner Ort am Fuße vom Schwarzwald.,aber schnell wurden wir eines besseren belehrt.
Es gibt fast keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Zu Fuß ,wenn man im Obertal ist,ist gar nix zu erreichen.Nur im Untertal gibt es seit kurzen wieder ein Einkaufszentrum ,aber das war von unserer Ferienwohnung mehrere Kilometer entfernt.Auch mußten wir immer wieder auf der Straße laufen,weil ständig Autos auf dem Gehweg stehen.
Es gibt ein paar wenige Gaststätten ,es sollte reserviert werden sonst kann es sein ...ohne ESSEN INS BETT ...
Wenn wieder Schwarzwald., dann wo anderes !
